Woodtech Forum will be held at 26/27 of November in Damietta, Egypt. The CEO of MEDEXPO, Mr. Ilias Angelopoulos, the organizer company for Woodtech Forum, had extensive meetings with the Governor of Damietta, Mr. Ismail Abd Elhamid Taha and the President of Chamber of Commerce of Damietta, Mr. Mohamed Elzeny.
As the time is passing by and we are getting closer to the 26th of November, the meetings and the preparations for the Woodtech Forum are being intensified. The public authorities of Damietta are increasing the pace of constructions in Damietta Furniture City and more specifically, in the next two months, the first buildings we will be ready. Governor’s ultimate goal is that the Damietta Furniture City to be ready in a year from now!
Also the Governor of Damietta, clarified that Woodtech Forum has the full support of the public authorities of Egypt and furthermore has been targeted by many companies worldwide, as it is the first event of this kind that is been held in Damietta. He also mentioned that by the end of this year will be a big presentation for the new furniture production technology, with the presence of the political and business leadership of Egypt.
Equally important is the fact that a fund of 50 million euros has been approved for the purchase of heavy production furniture machineries for the Damietta Furniture City. Particularly the Governor emphasized that when this future city will be ready, it will change radically the way of working of furniture manufacturers, with high quality products, that will increase the export capability of Damietta.
